1st post about Advent Calendar

My blog is Lara B Scrapping but I like to do lots of crafts! For Christmas I made my 2 year old son, Luke, an advent calendar out of toliet paper rolls. I stole this idea but can't find a link. It is really easy to make but the rolls are not big enough if you want to put like gifts inside like we did. But Luke liked it anyway. Actually you could do this to count down to anything. Just get the rolls you need. Cut 4 slits in one end to close it up, decorate with different papers, put holes in the tops to string them up, you can number them if you want to and then find a place to hang them. This is the finished product.

And a happy kid trying to see if there is more stuff in the rolls!
